Ohms: What kind of connections are recommended for a low resistance measurement?

回答:

With low resistance measurements, it's important to avoid any connections that increase thermoelectric voltages that can cause errors. Remember that every time test leads or other cables are hooked up to a different connection, an unwanted thermocouple is created. Therefore, it is critical to use low thermal connections. Lead solder can result in much as a 1-3 microvolts/degree C voltage offset when connected to copper. This is also why it's important to ensure that the connections are made of the same material. A copper-to-copper connection generates less than 0.2 microvolts/degree C offset. We suggest using copper mechanical connections to reduce any thermal offsets to improve the measurement.
